Every Country in the World
At 17, I set off alone for Egypt on my first major adventure. By the age of 27, I had achieved my goal of visiting every country in the world, with Eritrea as the final destination. Since then, I have continued travelling extensively and sharing experiences through media and storytelling.
To achieve this goal, I hitchhiked with hundreds of drivers, took countless budget buses, stayed with local families, slept in public spaces, navigated complex visa requirements through creative solutions, and collaborated with many hotels and airlines.
2,000+ Destinations
I have travelled over 4,000 days and visited more than 2,000 destinations, including every country recognised by the UN, the Olympic Committee, and FIFA, all continents, over 100 TCC-recognised territories, more than 400 islands, as well as many cities, towns, villages, and natural sights.
Lyme Disease and MCS
In 2019, I became very sick. After desperately trying numerous treatments and undergoing many tests, my condition worsened in 2021. I saw more than 40 specialists and even created a website about my health issues in a desperate attempt to get help. Eventually, I was tested for Lyme disease and hospitalised, but long-term infections are extremely difficult to treat.
So far, I’ve undergone hundreds of treatments, some in Germany, Kazakhstan, South Africa, and the US, and I expect to continue to do treatments for the rest of my life. My life has changed significantly, and I now also have Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS), which causes many limitations in everyday life and travel.
